What to do following an adverse clinical outcome in maternal medicine
NOTE: This flowchart follows the steps after an adverse clinical outcome in the workplace. The word ‘incident’ has been used but remember that individuals are influenced differently by incidents in the workplace and may perceive their seriousness differently based on numerous factors including their previous experiences and their cognitive resources to manage the impact on them. Likewise, someone may perceive the seriousness of incidents differently over time.
